Transportation and Job Coaching Are Excellent, 09-03-2019 01:45PM

By: Mother of Person Served in Geauga county

My son first went through Two's job training. He enjoyed it immensely and it prepared him for independent work. The coaches and Sheri really had a handle on his personality and how to teach him effectively. When it came time to "graduate", they helped find an excellent employer that was prepared and understood my son's need for additional time and patience. The job coach faded appropriately when supports were not longer needed, but was always available in the background when a new aspect of the job was created and my son needed a bit more support. Additionally, they provide FANTASTIC transportation services and are very responsive. They are NEVER late and have NEVER cancelled a pick up or drop off. I couldn't be happier with the services provided by Two!

Start to finish at The Two Cafe, 05-21-2019 12:45AM

By: Father of Person Served in Geauga county

Our child went through the program and became employed shortly after completing. Transitioning from the Café to employment seemed very disorganized. As the weeks passed by, it became very clear that " Job Coaching " , which is heavily pitched at the Café was not happening. The Job Coach needs to be very pro-active with the employer and employee together, working thru struggles to resolve them before they become serious. Sadly, the Job Coach was re-active to situations instead. Our child was asked to leave work two days in a row early, and our child does not drive.... they are driven and picked up under a County Transportation Provider Program. The Job Coach told the parent the child can " UBER " home. Our child was then terminated via e-mail from the Café. It is clear there is a HUGE communication gap between the Café and its Community Employment Partners. These young adults need the right people supporting them and the Café did not perform. Pick another provider.

Job Training, 06-13-2017 03:51PM

By: Mother of Person Served in Cuyahoga county

This is a fantastic place. They are extremely professional. They are unlike any other provider with their model. They are efficient and move young adults through the process of job skill acquisition, job discovery and placement. They ACTIVELY seek partnerships from community employers to place their candidates so they will be competitively employed with natural supports. I am hoping that they will expand some day and be able to employ some of their candidates who might be better served by their business and support. Last but not least, The food at the TWO Cafe is fantastic, fresh and farm to fork!
