TRS, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1975, provides a variety of services to individuals who reside in Northeast Ohio.
Residential: Threshold currently provides services to individuals in 22 locations. Services provided in these locations include 24/7 staffing, remote monitoring services, rep payeeship, and nursing services. Threshold owns and operates 9 Licensed Residential Facilities, provides services in 9 homes owned by the CCBDD, and TRS also provides services in a number of settings where the individual resides with their family.
Day Services: Threshold provides skill development, socialization, and community integration activites at the habilitation center. Individuals who attend the vocational habilitation sites receive training that would translate to employment skills. Threshold is listed as a vendor through OOD, which enables us to provide job coaching, community based assessments, and summer youth programs for individuals seeking employment.

After my friend passed away, Threshold providered her daughter will a wonderful home. They worked to find her an appropriate home situation by finding a great room mate and a home for her dog also. My friend's daughter is blooming under their care. The nurses have ensured that she continues her medical care has continued without fail. I can't say enough to praise this agency.

My brother has been a client of Threshold for over 30 years and the family's experience has gotten better and better through the years. As with any life experience, there been been a few challenges over time but I never felt they did not have his best interest at heart and they have been appropriately responsive to his needs. I appreciate that they keep the family involved and let us know if he is having difficulty with anything so we can help if needed. I would recommend Threshold to anyone looking for a provider. The staff has been pleasant and helpful to work with. They have always encouraged him to participate in social activities as well as work and I think they have done an amazing job. We are grateful they are a big part of his life.
